With Ashampoo Magical Defrag 2 you will no longer need to remember to defragment your hard drives regularly. Simply because they will never be defragmented again! Magical Defrag 2 constantly keeps an eye on your file system and makes sure that all the clusters are allocated properly, so your hard disks never get defragmented again. And all that without slowing down your computer’s performance.
Ashampoo Magical Defrag 2 will sit on your Windows® system (Vista included) and will wait until no program is running to start working. It will never interrupt your work or take up any of the computer resources you are using, working very much like screensavers do. Whenever your system is idle, it will analyse the fragmentation level of your hard drives and will silently and surely perform its task in the background. Once your hard discs are fully defragmented, Magical Defrag 2 will make sure they never get fragmented again. It will also set up a programmed maintenance service that will make a full check of all your hard drives once every week, just in case.
This software requires no configuration, no complicated settings. Just install it and let it do its job. The icon in your taskbar will tell you if it is working, if it is on pause mode, or if it has accomplished its task. By clicking on it you will be able to see a dynamic graphical representation of the hard drive it is working on, and also statistics of its performance. Besides, you can decide the drives you want the program to check, or if you want it to keep working even when your system is running on battery mode. You may even want not to see the icon displayed on your taskbar, but those are all the choices you will need to make. Magical Defrag 2 will worry about everything else. |
